About Us

Thee Courtesan Belle Weathers (aka Suzanne) and The Red Lady Sophia (Sophia) are both seasoned professionals with a wide variety of performance styles.

Suzanne holds a BFA in Music Theater Performance from Millikin University and has been on stage, in film, and at faires & festivals for over 30 years. Her love of performance began at the age of twelve with children's theater and dance, and her passion for all forms of performance has driven her desire to incorporate multiple disciplines into memorable shows. She is a classically trained singer, parody song writer, mandolin player, improv actor, and fire dancer. She founded The Courtesan & The Cabin Boy LLC , and was co-founder of the musical group Sisters Strange.  

Sophia performance roots began in the heavy metal scene as keyboardist, flautist, and lead female vocalist for the band Urn (USA). During her time with Urn she toured in the US and abroad, opening for Nightwish and more. More recently she has performed with The Lords of the Drunken Pirate Crew where the persona The Red Lady Sophia was born.  She is also an accomplished sound and recording engineer, producing multiple albums for a variety of bands.
